Information regarding the UEFA EURO 2020 events
Due to the pandemic, the UEFA European Championship planned for the year 2020 has been cancelled. The UEFA administration decided that the championship will be held in the year 2021 instead. The name of the event will still be UEFA Euro 2020. The matches for the European Championship will be held by different countries. For Hungary, the new Puskás Aréna Stadium will be the home for 4 matches.

NMHH is responsible for the management of the frequency assets of Hungary. Frequency management comprises activities intended to serve the regulated national and international use of the radio spectrum.
Radio frequencies
NMHH is responsible for the management of the frequency assets of Hungary, which means that the Authority is responsible for the utilization of the various frequencies in Hungary. The goal is to use the Hungarian radio spectrum the as effectively as possible and that the services operated at different frequencies do not interfere.
NMHH: Two bidders won 80 MHz in the 3400-3800 MHz band
On 7 June the National Media and Infocommunications Authority of Hungary (NMHH) announced the winners of the auction procedure for acquiring frequency usage rights in the 3400-3800 MHz frequency band. DIGI Távközlési és Szolgáltató Kft. and Vodafone Magyarország Zrt, the winners in the upper and lower band, respectively, together offered HUF 896.6 million for the ten user basic blocks in total to utilise the 3400-3800 MHz frequency band.

Publication of auction documents in the 3400-3800 MHz frequency band
The National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMIA) has published the auction documentation pertaining to the utilisation of the frequency use entitlements that may be acquired in the 3400-3800 MHz frequency band. Applications to participate may be filed between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on 2 May 2016.
The draft tender documentation of the national spectrum licences available in the 3400-3800 MHz frequency band is public and may be commented up to 30 March
The licences in the 3400-3600 MHz frequency band granted earlier for a period of 15 years will expire on July 30th of this year, thus it was appropriate to announce the auction procedure for the 3400-3600 MHz frequency band, while there was a market interest in the 3600-3800 MHz frequency band.
